New Kicks & Trader Vic's LA + Packing for TO begins!

I am denim OBSESSED
Especially for Rock & Republics..the fitment is sick
and I just love that they're super Rock n Roll with skulls, leather, sparklies..
and ish... white not have a flashy bum right?

I started collecting denim last month, and I can't stop...
so I bought two more True Religions, and not picture here are my Frankie B.s
that Pam and Joey convinced me that they'll be LOVE (and they are!!)
I ordered my 2nd pair of FB's on her site like 2 days later!!!! LMAO!!!
My 7's are getting faded, but they're that really comfy faded, and I don't wanna get rid of them just yet, but yes... I have denim for Canada... so stoked.
I was never one to pay a pretty penny for denim until I slid into a REAL pair,
I was usually rockin F21 denims or Mossimo from Target...but this is...
Pure LUST from here on out....so ya no turning back ever again.

Look at this SKULL for Rock and Republic..... SICK right?

i ♥ my rocks...

Santee Alley Part Deux

I Survived... Santee Alley in the Garment District of LA
I was on a mission w/my bff in tow -
to find myself the fabulous Alexander McQueen Skull sh'booties...
bad sadly no luck... I even picked the brain of the lovely, Sarah behind the site:
http://www.santeealleyonline.com/ !!! *sigh*
Do check out her site for great deals and eye-spy goodies!

but, I managed to still put in some shopping in DT LA, I needed stuff for Canada
considering that I'm staying for more than 1 month, so I need to be booted and suited properly.
Here's the skinny on most of my PHAT...

Bomber Motorcycle Jacket $25.00
(haggled down from $35 w/ no tax)

OmG Shoes....

Faux Suede Zipper Sh'booties $20 (no tax)

$25 Leather Faux Studded Sh'Booties
I reallllly dug these damn things..

I thought these were cute "short stuff" style sh'booties..

The "Gang"...

I should've gotten some browns/grays and purples.
what a doof.... oh well pacific mall here i come then.. lol

Clothes n' Stuff Con'td

Fitted White Jacket w/ Corset Belt and Leopard Pencil Skirt.
Make a killin'

These are being packed in my luggage of course, my fave reggae star
mr bob marley...

another find from my fave santee boutique was this cute studded waisted
pocketed black dress, nice for cocktails and dinners no?

I found this one boutique in Santee and was drooling over so many of their items in their store, this was one of the pieces I managed to take home with me from there.

Studded white bustier, tubie thing... totally rockstar. $20 (no tax)

Gotta have the cute jackets...
$18.00 no tax'

Our day of shopping ended at Trader Vics over at LA Live (right by the staple center) and I have this school girl crush on the GM, so I come to enjoy his vast selection of rums and cocktails while staring and munch munching on my Calamari with Wasabi Mayo and my Hummus w/ Grilled Pitas.... Here's the photo run-down of the fab'ness

My school girl crush in the suit...
It was my eye-spy sneak shot w/out being obvious...
Stalkerish of me huh... lmao...

BUT HEY if you bat your eyelashes...
good things come your way...

Which included our complimentary dessert of Fried Banana Fritters
with Ice Cream and Fresh Cream and Trader Vic's Mudslide (absolutely STOUT)

This was CJ's Drink a Sambwong (sp) Rum Punch

and of course this cute one is mine below
it's called "the Potted parrot"

Isn't she soooo cute!!!!

and taking advantage of the 4pm Happy Tiki Hour

We got the amazing Hummus Dip w/Tahini
and grilled Pita bread and roasted garlic...

and this was our "drink for two"
which was Trader Vic's famous punch bowl...VERY REFRESHING
especially after being in the alley all day in the sun.

and my "crush" came over and hand delivered a glass of
the house vodka on the rocks to try, it was incredibly smooth...
the drive home uh -- not so much... lmao.
(wonder what he slipped in there... lol)

Our tiki happy hour was absolutely awesome and I came away
with "crush" digits, so I'd say the day ended in the best way possible.
(CJ even managed to leave his visa card on the table in absent-mindness,
so we had to come back..lmao)

There was something very "ODD" about this lil Wahine
rocking a WEENIE? or something.. lmao...

My Countdown For T-dot is nearing and I'm soooo EXCITED
I can't wait to jump on AIR CANADA and just RELAX...
Life honestly can't get any better for me at this point.
I'm purely overjoyed
and feel absolutely BLESSED.
Year of the OX is BEYOND "my" year.

and hmmm NY w/ Lady L and Pamcakes???
Gonna work that in, some how, some way....

BAPE has been really hot in my neighborhood for the past year or two; Gwen Stefani has a posse of dressy bessies decked out in simulated Harajuku fashion....whether you're looking from the heights of pop culture or street-level creativity ....a symbiotic mix that Tokyo's Harajuku neighborhood has always thrived on this book is an anthropological breakdown of the scene, styles, and designers that owe as much to Malcolm McLaren as they do American trash culture. Visually rich, the book focuses equally on contextualizing texts; considering the scope and richness of the source materials, Style Deficit Disorder manages to be accessible and encyclopedic at the same time.
